Scholarshipholder of the Gerd-Bucerius-Stipend

Sumina has been loaned violins from the German Music Instrument Foundation since 2016. Within the foundation, Sumina has now also been elected to receive the Gerd-Bucerius-Scholarship, which will enable her further studies in the United States of America.
Named after famed german journalist, policitian and founding member of german magazine "Die Zeit" ("The Time") Gerd Bucerius, the German Music Instrument Foundation cooperated with the ZEIT-foundation to support young musicians on their musical endeavours abroad from Germany.

Previous scholarshipholders include clarinetist and president of Deutsche Grammophon Clemens Trautmann, and violinist Viviane Hagner.
